Tiered Price

Notes: Hi B2B app users, the tiered price feature is updated on August 25, 2023, and some existing data are migrated accordingly. For details, please refer to B2B & Wholesale Solution V2.0.

Currently, the B2B & Wholesale Solution app (hereafter referred to as the B2B app) manages the tiered price for products on a plan basis. It provides tiered price settings for the selling method with bulk purchase discounts. After you configure the tiered price plan, when customers purchase products that reach the threshold defined in the tier, the product price changes to the configured price.

Configuring a Tiered Price

  • Batch configuration: To create a tiered price plan, you can open the B2B app and go to Product > batch select products > Transaction Information Settings. Once created, you need to configure the details of the tiered price.

  • One-on-one configuration: You can also click a specific product to enter the details page, enable Transaction settings, and select Tiered price based on quantity to configure the tiered price for the product.

As the name suggests, the tiered price is a price strategy to encourage customers to purchase more products for better discounts. B2B tiered price plans allow you to create up to five price tiers.

After adding tiers, you need to configure two essential pieces of information:

  1. The minimum purchase quantity of the product that triggers this tier.
  2. The corresponding specified price for the product once the minimum purchase quantity triggering for that tier is reached.
  • The minimum purchase quantity for the next tier must be greater than the minimum purchase quantity for the previous tier. Otherwise, the tiered price plan can’t be successfully saved.
  • Each tier is triggered based on the sum of quantities of all styles of a single product in the shopping cart.
  • If you allow customers to purchase a minimum of one product, please set the tiered price from a minimum purchase quantity of one.
