Adding Content to Enrich the Product Page (OS 2.1 Themes)

Adding important content to the product detail page, such as a quantity selector and inventory status, helps enrich the page and enhance the overall shopping experience for your customers.

Follow this guide to learn how to add these elements and optimize your product pages effectively.

Adding Additional Content to the Product Page

For product information such as price, sale information, quantity selector, and other related product details, you can add the content directly to the product page.

To add content via your theme editor, follow these steps below:

1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Online Store > Design and click the Design button in the Current theme to enter the theme editor.

   
    

2. Click the page selector at the top to switch to the Products page where you want to add content, then add components as needed to enrich your product page. Below, we’ll walk you through two examples to demonstrate how to add different types of content.

   
    

   Example 1: Displaying Stock Quantity
    

   You can display the stock quantity of a product to create a sense of urgency and encourage customers to complete their purchases. Follow these steps:

   1. Click the Component icon and select Product from the component panel. Then, click the + icon (Add content) to open the content list.
   2. From the list, choose the component you want to add to the product detail page. In this example, select Inventory status.
    

   Note: The location and name of certain  components may vary slightly depending on the theme version. Take the above option as an example: In OS 2.0 themes, go to Product > + Add content > Show stock quantity. In OS 2.1 themes, go to Product > + Add content > Inventory status. In OS 3.0 themes, go to Product > Product information > + Add content > Inventory status. If you can’t find a specific element in the theme editor, try checking other content blocks within the same section, refer to your theme’s documentation, or contact our support team for assistance.

   3. Enable Show stock quantity. The inventory status will be displayed on the product page.

   
   
    

   
   
    

   Example 2: Adding a Quantity Selector
    

   You can add a quantity selector to your product page to allow customers to choose the number of items they want to purchase easily. Follow these steps:

   1. Click the Component icon and select Product from the component panel. Then, click the + icon (Add content) to open the content list.
   
   

   2. From the list, choose the component you want to add to the product detail page. In this example, select Quantity sector.

   

   Note: The location and name of certain components may vary slightly depending on the theme version. Take the above option as an example: In OS 2.0 themes, go to Product > + Add content > Show Quantity Selector. In OS 2.1 themes, go to Product > + Add content > Quantity Selector. In OS 3.0 themes, go to Product > Product information > + Add content > Quantity Selector. If you can’t find a specific element in the theme editor, try checking other content blocks within the same section, refer to your theme’s documentation, or contact our support team for assistance.

   3. Configure the details for the quantity selector on the right side and the Quantity selector will be displayed on the product page.

   

3. After making your changes, click Save to apply them.
