Shopping Cart Abandonment Statistics

 

The Shopping Cart Abandonment Statistics can help you understand which products are most likely to be placed in the shopping cart but abandoned at checkout in the past 30 days, and the value of the abandoned items. Based on the data on this report, you may determine and adjust your product strategy to increase the proportion of users placing orders.

 

Setting Instructions

In your SHOPLINE Admin panel > Analytics > Report > Actions > Shopping Cart Abandonment Statistics.

You may view statistics up to an hour ago in this report, and you can reopen or refresh the report to display the most updated data. This report uses the following relevant metrics:

Metrics

Description

Accumulated people of abandonment

Users who have added products into the shopping cart without checking out within 24 hours of the past 30 days.

Accumulated people adding to the cart

Users who have added products into the shopping cart in the past 30 days. 

Accumulated abandoned product value

Product value once a product is added into a shopping cart without checking out in 24 hours of the last 30 days. 

Calculation method

(Selling price x No. of pieces added to cart). Selling price will be using the data of the previous day.

Abandonment rate

(Abandoned users / Add-to-cart users) x 100%
