Enabling OneShip Shipping Services at Checkout

SHOPLINE has partnered with OneShip, a comprehensive logistics platform, to enhance your store's shipping capabilities. This integration provides your customers with convenient shipping options and real-time shipping rate calculations directly at checkout.

Once setup is complete, OneShip will automatically calculate estimated shipping fees based on the shipping and delivery addresses, as well as the product's size and weight. The available shipping services and corresponding costs will then be displayed to customers during checkout, ensuring transparency and flexibility in their purchase experience.

Note: To protect your profit margins, SHOPLINE recommends having customers cover the shipping fees.

 

 

Enabling the "Shipping Rates at Checkout" Feature in OneShip

The first step in enabling OneShip's shipping services at checkout is to configure the Shipping Rates at Checkout feature in your OneShip account. Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your OneShip account. Go to Settings > Your Stores, then click Store Settings to open the configuration page.

  2. In the Shipping Rates at Checkout section, click Go to settings.

  3. On the settings page, enter the default product weight and size.

    What are the default weight and size?

    If a product in SHOPLINE is missing size or weight information, the system will use the default values you set here to calculate shipping rates. Without this information, shipping options may not appear at checkout.
  4. Click Save and enabled to activate the real-time shipping rate calculation feature.

Configure Shipping Settings in SHOPLINE Admin

After completing the setup in OneShip, return to your SHOPLINE admin panel to configure your location and shipping settings:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Locations > Default location, then click Edit to set your default location.
    Note: This setting affects the available shipping services and rate calculations at checkout. We recommend aligning your SHOPLINE default location with the shipping address used in OneShip.

  2. Configure shipping and delivery by following these steps: 

2.1 Go to Settings > Shipping and delivery > General shipping rates, and click Shipping rate settings.

2.2 On the shipping settings page, click Add a shipping zone to define the shipping countries or regions.

2.3 After configuring the shipping zone, click Add the shipping rates to customize your shipping fees.

2.4 In the pop-up window, select Use a carrier or third-party app to calculate rates, choose OneShip Shipping, and check the shipping services you want to display at checkout.

2.5 Choose your processing fee type and set the corresponding percentage or fixed amount.

2.6 Click Done to save your configuration.

  1. On the shipping rate settings page, click Update to apply your changes. 

Once setup is complete, your customers will see the available OneShip shipping services and corresponding shipping fees during checkout.

 

 

Important Notes

To ensure accurate shipping estimates are displayed at checkout, please confirm the following:

  • Your shipping address (warehouse location) is correctly configured.
  • Each product has complete size and weight data. To prevent missing information, set default size and weight in OneShip.

Additionally, make sure:

  • All addresses, including your shipping address and your customers’ delivery addresses, are valid and supported by the selected carriers.
  • Your product size and weight fall within the minimum and maximum limits of each carrier. These requirements may vary by carrier.
