Setting Up Quora Pixel and Conversion API with SHOPLINE
Quora is now available as a new advertising channel on SHOPLINE, allowing merchants to run ads, track conversions, and optimize campaigns directly on the platform. This guide walks you through what Quora is, how to integrate it with your SHOPLINE store, and how to configure Quora Pixel and the Conversion API.
What is Quora?
Quora is a question-and-answer platform where people ask questions, share knowledge, and engage with topics they care about. Quora Ads allows brands to reach high-intent users based on what they read and search for. It supports audience targeting by interests, behaviors, and specific topics, making it a valuable channel for content-based marketing and product discovery.
With the SHOPLINE integration, merchants can now send conversion data to Quora using both Pixel (client-side tracking) and Conversion API (server-side tracking), helping improve ad performance and conversion accuracy.
How to Integrate Quora with Your SHOPLINE Store
SHOPLINE supports native integration of Quora tracking through:
- Quora Pixel ID: For client-side event tracking (e.g., page views, purchases)
- Quora Conversion API: For server-side event reporting, enabling more reliable conversion tracking even with browser limitations
How to set up:
- In your SHOPLINE admin panel, navigate to Apps > Quora.
- Click Configure Pixel and Configure CAPI to enter the configuration page. You will see two setup sections:

- Client-side Tracking (Pixel ID)
- Server-side Tracking (CAPI: Access Token + Ad Account ID)
Setting Up Quora Pixel
- Log into your Quora Ads Manager.
- Go to Pixel & events, click Setup Pixel and locate your Pixel ID.
- Copy the Pixel ID.
- Go back to your SHOPLINE Admin Panel > Quora Channel > Tracking Setup.
- Paste the Pixel ID into the Pixel ID field.
- Click Save.
Once saved, SHOPLINE will start automatically tracking basic client-side events like PageView, and send them to Quora using the Pixel.

Setting Up Quora Conversion API
- In Quora Ads Manager, navigate to the Conversion API section and click Generate Token.
- Click Copy token and save the token somewhere safe for later use.
- Locate your Ad Account ID (numeric format) by clicking your profile.
- Back in your SHOPLINE Admin Panel > Quora Channel > Server-side reporting > Configure CAPI, enter both:
- Quora Ad Account ID
- CAPI Access Token
- Click Save.
After validation, server-side tracking (e.g., Purchase, AddToCart, etc.) will begin automatically.

Viewing and Managing Setup
Once the setup is complete:
- The system will display a success status message.
- You’ll see the connected ad account and tracking information (Pixel ID & masked Access Token).
- You can click the edit icon to modify configurations or delete (⋯) to reset.

- Content-Driven Ads: Quora users engage with in-depth answers. Run ads that provide value and lead to your product.
- Topic Targeting: Use Quora’s targeting tools to show ads to users reading about your niche (e.g., skincare routines, vitamin benefits).
- Remarketing: Combine Pixel and CAPI for complete conversion tracking, allowing better optimization of remarketing campaigns.
- Test Different Formats: Experiment with promoted answers, image ads, or lead forms depending on your campaign goals.
- Track Conversions: Ensure both Pixel and CAPI are set up so you don’t miss out on conversion data for campaign optimization.
