The Top Products data report provides the traffic and sales data for top-selling products, presenting key metrics such as sales quantity, sales revenue, sessions, and conversion rate for each product.

Overview of the Top Products Report
To access the detailed analysis page of the Top Products report, go to the Analytics module in your admin panel, locate the Top products report, and click the View report icon in the upper-right corner.
This page provides insights into product and sub-variant dimensions, offering sales data and conversion rates for your top-selling products.
The following features are available:
- View More: Click the line chart icon in the Options column to view detailed data and trends for the selected product.
- Sort Metrics: Click on a desired metric to sort products in ascending or descending order. For example, click Add to cart sessions to sort products by session count, from highest to lowest.
- Edit Header: Click Edit to explore additional product dimensions and metrics. Select your preferred options and click Update to save your selections for future visits.
- Filter Products: Click More Filters to filter products in the report by specific product details. For example, under the Created time tab, select Last 7 days to display products created within the last seven days.
- Export Data: After editing or filtering products, you can export the data for further analysis or archival purposes.
Note: By default, the data displays the top 2,000 products based on sales quantity within the selected time range. If you sort products by Orders (from highest to lowest), the data will instead show the top 2,000 products based on order count within the same time range. |
Understanding Product Dimensions
The following table provides a description of the common dimensions available on the Product data details page:
Dimension | Description |
Product name | The title of the product. If the product name is changed after an order is placed, the report will display the new name. If no product image is associated, the image field will show "null." |
Vendor | The vendor of the product. If the vendor is modified after an order is placed, the report will display the latest manufacturer. If no vendor is set for the product, it will be displayed as "N/A." |
SPU |
The standardized unit for the product. If the SPU is modified after an order is placed, the report will display the latest SPU. If no SPU is set for the product, it will be displayed as "N/A." |
Custom product type | The custom product type you have defined for the product. If the custom product type is modified after an order is placed, the report will display the latest type. If no custom product type is set for the product, it will be displayed as "N/A." |
Product categories | The latest collection to which the product belongs. If the product category is modified, the report will display the updated information. If no category is set for the product, it will be displayed as "N/A." |
Product tag | The latest tags associated with the product. If product tags are modified, the report will display the updated information. If no tags are set for the product, it will be displayed as "N/A." |
Created time | The time when the product was created. If the product is deleted, the created time will be displayed as "N/A." |
Online store latest release time | The most recent time when the product was linked to the Online Store sales channel. |
Definitions of Key Metrics
The following table provides definitions for the common metrics in the Product data details report:

Product sales | |
Sales quantity | The number of products sold within the selected time range. When orders are edited (e.g., reducing quantities, canceling orders, or issuing refunds), the sales volume decreases accordingly. |
Sales | The total sales revenue generated by specific products within the selected time range. Sales are calculated based on the subtotal of the products in each order. |
Sales percentage | The percentage of total sales for the current product compared to the total sales of all filtered products within the selected time range. |
Orders | The number of orders that include the product within the selected time range. |
Per customer transaction | The average sales value per order, calculated as Sales / Orders. |

Product views | The total number of times the product's detail page was viewed within the selected time range. |
Product user views | The number of unique visitors who viewed the product detail page during the chosen time range. Each visitor is counted only once, regardless of how many times they viewed the product in a single session. |
Add-to-cart | The number of times visitors clicked the Add to Cart button for the product within the selected time range. |
Add-to-cart sessions | The number of times that unique visitors clicked the Add to Cart button for the product within the selected time range. |
Number of times entering the checkout page | The number of times a product has been added to the checkout process. |
Reached checkout sessions | The number of times that unique visitors have added a product to the checkout process. |
Product list sessions with clicks | The number of unique visitors who clicked on a product from a product list (e.g., the all products page, a single collection page, or a search results page) and navigated to the corresponding product detail page. |
Product list views | The number of unique visitors to pages displaying product listings (e.g., the all products page, a single collection page, or a search results page). |

Product conversion rate | Product conversion rate = Number of sessions resulting in successful orders / Number of sessions viewing products. |
