Using the Staff Attendance Management App
You can enable and start using the staff attendance features in two simple phases.
I. Adding Staff and Setting POS PINs
- Log in to your SHOPLINE Admin, navigate to POS, and click Staff
- Click Add staff in the top right corner.
- Complete all required staff information carefully, especially the following key fields:
- POS access permissions: Set the Store and the corresponding Role the employee can access. If they need to manage multiple stores, click Add access permission to include more stores.
- POS PIN code: Set a unique four-digit PIN for the employee. This PIN will serve as the credential for the employee to log in to the POS App and perform clock-in/out actions.
- After confirming the information is correct, click Save in the top right.
II. Installing the Staff Attendance Management App
- In SHOPLINE Admin, go to Apps > SHOPLINE App Store, search for and locate the Staff Attendance Management app, and click Install.
- Once installed, click into the Staff Attendance Management app from the Apps list to begin using it.
Recording Daily Attendance (Employee Operations)
To perform daily attendance actions, employees must open the POS app, expand the left menu, go to Apps, and tap Staff Attendance Management.
They can perform the following actions in the app:

Clock In: On the app screen, select their account (status should be "Off shift"). Enter their PIN code to record the start time.

Recording Break Time: On the app screen, select their account (status should be "On shift"). Click Take break, enter their PIN code to record the start of the break time.

Resuming Work After Break: On the app screen, select their account (status should be "On break"). Enter their PIN code to end the break time.

Clock Out: On the app screen, select their account (status should be "On shift"). Click End shift and enter their personal PIN code to complete the clock-out action.
Reviewing and Managing Daily Data (Manager Operations)
Log in to the SHOPLINE Admin backend and click into the Staff Attendance Management app from the Apps list. In the backend of the app, you can:

Add Attendance Staff: The app automatically syncs POS staff configured in the backend. To manually add staff for attendance tracking, click Add a check-in staff in the top right corner. Ensure you fill in all necessary fields: Staff member details, their associated store and role, and their unique POS PIN code.

View, Filter, and Export Attendance Records: You can review today's attendance records by clicking on View check-in records. You can filter the data by Staff Name, Store, or Time Range to quickly find the required attendance data, and then click the Export button to download it.
