B2B & Wholesale Solution: Enabling Bulk Inquiry for Multiple Products
The B2B & Wholesale Solution app offers a convenient bulk inquiry feature, allowing customers to add multiple products to their quote list and request pricing for all these products at once. This streamlines the purchasing process and increases efficiency for both buyers and sellers.
Steps to Enable Bulk Inquiry
To activate the bulk inquiry feature, follow these steps:
-
From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > B2B & Wholesale Solution. Install the app if you haven't already.
-
In the app, click Settings and select Shop display.
-
In the Multi-product Enquiry section, enable the option for Multi-product enquiry. You can also select additional pages where you want the inquiry button to appear, besides the product details page.
| Note: If you’re using a SHOPLINE OS 3.0 theme, you must manually add the Product card-inquiry button app block to the collections page in the theme editor for the button settings to display correctly on your storefront. For details on app block functions, setup steps, and which app features require app block support, refer to the Help Center article "Integrating Apps into OS 3.0 Themes." |

Understanding Pricing in the Bulk Inquiry Quote List
When buyers review their quote list and adjust quantities before submitting a bulk inquiry, the prices shown are based on your B2B catalog pricing. Prices and estimated totals update in real-time as buyers modify quantities using the + / − buttons or by typing directly.
How prices are determined:
- If catalog MOQ pricing is configured for a product: The unit price updates automatically to reflect the applicable catalog price tier as the buyer adjusts the quantity. For example, if catalog pricing is set at $100 per unit for quantities 1–9 and $80 per unit for quantities 10 or more, a buyer entering 10 units will see a unit price of $80 and an estimated total of $800.
- If no catalog pricing is configured for a product: The product’s standard selling price is shown.
| Note: Tiered pricing configured in the B2B & Wholesale Solution app does not apply to the bulk inquiry quote list. Only catalog pricing — or the standard selling price if no catalog pricing is configured — is used. |
