FAQs

Why does it fail to connect the GMC account, and display "The store domain name is inconsistent with the GMC verified domain name"?

According to the system settings, the domain name you verify on GMC must be exactly the same as the primary domain name of the store (including the URL symbol) for a successful connection. Therefore, please carefully check and compare the specific domain name address of the primary store domain name and the GMC verified domain name, URL symbols such as https and http, and whether there are symbols (e.g., / ) after the domain name address. If there is an inconsistency, please go to GMC to re-verify the domain before binding to GMC. For example, the following situations will be considered as "the primary store domain name is inconsistent with the GMC verified domain name".

  • www.abc.com VS abc.com
  • https://www.abc.com VS www.abc.com
  • www.abc.com VS www.abc.com/
  • https://abc.com VS http//abc.com
Note: Please do not change the primary domain name of the store at will. Domain name changes will affect GMC binding and product feed synchronization. If your primary store domain name has changed, please go to GMC to re-verify the domain name in time. If you already have a product Feed in use at this time, after you complete domain verification, please return to the SHOPLINE admin panel, turn the Feed switch off and on again, and trigger Feed update again.

The product feed is filtered out, and it says, "The product does not belong to the feed product sources." How to solve it?

When you upload a product to Google Feed, even a specified class of product, Feed synchronization will read products of the whole site and determine whether they meet the upload requirements. It will be uploaded to GMC only if it meets the upload requirements. Those failing the requirements can still be viewed in the Feed product list, with reasons provided by the Smart Feed system.
