As part of the Social Commerce pillar, the POST Sales feature enables users to sell products directly on Facebook and/or Instagram posts. With this feature, customers can leave keyword comments on their posts using the specific keyword set by the seller (e.g., comment A1+1 or +1). The system will automatically detect the comments and send customers a shopping cart link through Facebook/Instagram Messenger with their selected product to check out.

Keywords and Order Rules
Managing Product Keywords and Order Rules allows users to streamline the buying process for customers.
Product keyword - By specifying certain keywords that customers can use to place an order, sellers can ensure that orders are placed correctly and efficiently.
To manage product keyword:
- From your SHOPLINE admin, go to POST sales > General Settings > Keywords and Order Rules > Product Keywords.
- To modify or add keywords, click on the 'Edit' button and enter the desired keyword(s). You can also use the 'Quick generate' button to create a unique keyword for the product automatically.
Order Rules (Keyword Rules) - By establishing order rules, sellers can ensure that all keyword comments made by customers are accurate and complete for them to place an order.
To manage keyword rule:
- From your SHOPLINE admin, go to POST sales > General Settings > Keywords and Order Rules > Keyword Rule.
- Select the appropriate keyword rule that customers should use in their comments to place an order.
Note:
By default, the selected keyword order rule will be applied when creating a Livestream or Post Sales event. This rule will also be applied to all future Livestreams and Post Sales events to ensure consistency in the ordering process for customers.
Message Template
With the Message Management feature, you can pre-customise message content for POST Sales events, such as the Add to cart message and Auto-reply message. By customising these message ahead of time, you can save time and provide a professional and efficient buying experience for your customer.

Add to Cart Message - This message will be automatically sent to the customer when they place an order by commenting with the product keyword on the post.

Auto-Reply - When a comment is left on the post, if you turn on auto-reply, the content you have set will be sent out to the customer as a reply to the comment.
Creating POST Sales
After learning about the general settings of POST Sales, you can now create your own POST Sales on Facebook and/or Instagram.
Creating POST Sales on Facebook
To create POST Sales on Facebook:
- Before you set up the POST Sales feature on SHOPLINE admin, go to your Facebook fan page and create a Post. Learn how to create a post on Facebook.
Tip:
You can use Canva, a graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics with readymade templates. Learn how to design a Facebook post using Canva.
- Once you have created a Facebook post, from your SHOPLINE admin, go to Channel > POST Sales.
- Click on Create POST Sales, select Facebook and select POST Sales type.
- It is optional to rename the POST Sales title. However, you can rename it for your own record purposes.
- Next, select the Facebook post you want to connect to and click Connect.
Note:
You can link each post with only one POST Sales. If you connect a new POST Sales to an existing social post, the system will automatically end the previous POST Sales connection.
- Then, select Select Products or Add Product to add the item(s) you want to sell in your Facebook post.

Lock Inventory [Optional]: In SHOPLINE, you can set a product reservation period for a POST Sales event.

Combine multiple POST Sales orders: If this option is turned on, customers' orders from your POST Sales event will be consolidated, and they can check out in one cart instead of multiple carts.

Customers can edit product quantity in the checkout page: Once enabled, customer can modify their product quantity in the checkout page.

Lock Inventory [Optional]: In SHOPLINE, you can set a product reservation period for a POST Sales event.

Schedule: In SHOPLINE, you can set the starting and ending time of the POST sale event.

After making changes to the settings, select Create to complete the process.
- Next, click on Copy text.
- Then, paste the text to your Facebook post into the comment section.
That's all! From now on, if a customer comments on the post using the designated keywords, the system will automatically send them a checkout link with the order they placed.
Creating POST Sales on Instagram
To create POST Sales on Instagram:
- Before you set up the POST Sales feature on SHOPLINE admin, go to your Instagram and create a Post. Learn how to create a post on Instagram.
Tip:

- Once you have created a Instagram post, from your SHOPLINE admin, go to Channel > POST Sales.

POST Sales post management
After creating a POST Sales on your Facebook and/or Instagram posts, you can view the number of sales generated on each POST Sales.
To view your POST Sales metrics:
- From your SHOPLINE admin, go to POST Sales > Recent Posts.
- Then, select the POST Sales, where you want to view the number of sales generated on the POST Sales feature.
- Next, on the detail page, select Manage comments.
- Subsequently, you can view the various type of data, such as the total number of comments received on the post, the total number of orders that were placed through the post, and other metrics.
Additionally, you can also view and manage customers' comments by filtering out messages based on specific keywords and searching for a particular comment or customer.
