How to Create a Google Feed with Smart Ads

To sell products on Google platforms, you first need to upload your product information to the Google Merchant Center (GMC) using a Google feed. A Google feed is a structured file, typically in XML or CSV format, containing details about your products. You can also synchronize the feed through API using a feed plugin.

This article will guide you on how to use Smart Ads to create and edit Google feeds and upload products to GMC.

Introduction to Google Feeds

A Google Merchant Center feed is a structured file containing product information for upload to Google’s platform. The feed includes details like product titles, descriptions, prices, links, and images. You submit the feed to provide this information to GMC so your products can be displayed and promoted across the Google ecosystem, including Google Shopping and Free Listings.

Note: Make sure you have a Google account and the relevant GMC assets prepared before you begin. Refer to the "Google Merchant Center Setup" and "Google Asset Authorization Binding for Smart Ads" guides for details.
