To add products to your SHOPLINE store, you can do so manually and in bulk using the SHOPLINE template. If you run a Shopify store and want to bring your products to SHOPLINE, you have the option to import your Shopify products using either a CSV file exported from Shopify or our Shopify one-click migration feature to speed up the migration.

Importing Shopify Products Using a Shopify CSV File
Similar to adding products to your store in bulk using the SHOPLINE template, which is a CSV file, you can upload the Shopify CSV file to import your Shopify products.
First, you need to export your Shopify products to a CSV file:
- From your Shopify admin panel, go to Products. Select the products you want to export. You can filter your product list to view and select specific products.
- Click Export.
- In the dialog, select the export range and the CSV file type based on your needs. Click Export products.
Now, the Shopify CSV file is ready. To import your Shopify products to SHOPLINE:
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Products.
- At the top of the page, click Import products > Import from Shopify.
- In the dialog, upload the Shopify CSV file by either clicking into the upload box to select the file or dragging and dropping it here.
- Click Import.
When the import is completed, you will find the imported products on the Products page.

Importing Shopify Products Using the Shopify One-click Migration Feature
SHOPLINE develops and provides the Shopify one-click migration feature to retrieve and import your Shopify product data to SHOPLINE.
Obtain your Shopify Store Information for Migration
To migrate your Shopify products, you need to grant access to your data from the Shopify admin and collect the following information: Store handle, API key, and Key password.
- Store handle (i.e. your store name)
-
- Find your store's URL on your Shopify store homepage, or find the corresponding URL in the URL bar of your browser.
- The part before ".myshopify.com" is the store handle. For example, if the Shopify URL is "owlcafe.myshopify.com", the store handle is "owlcafe".
- API key and Key password
The API key is a code used to identify and authenticate an application or user. By
creating an App in Shopify, you allow SHOPLINE to access your store's data
directly using Shopify's APIs.
- Before you can create an App for your Shopify store, you need to enable custom app development. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels > Develop apps. In the App development page, click Allow custom app development.
- To create an App, go to Settings > Apps and sales channels and click Develop apps > Create an app.
- In the dialog, enter the App name and select an App developer. The App developer can be the store owner, or any staff or collaborator account with the Develop apps permission. Click Create app.
- On the new page created using the name you just entered, go to the Configuration tab and configure Admin API integration.
- In the Admin API access scopes section, select the API scopes that you want to assign to the app and click Save.
Note:
|
- On the same page, click the Install app button.
In the pop-up window, click Install to confirm and start the installation. - Once your app is installed, go to the API Credentials tab and copy the Admin API access token and API key. Admin API access token is what you will provide for the API password.
Note: Click the eye icon to show the secret key, then click the icon on the right to copy the values. |
Importing the Data
Once you have all the required information, you can migrate your products from Shopify to SHOPLINE.
- From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Products. At the top of the page, click through Import products > Shopify one-click migration.
- In the One-click import for Shopify products page, enter the Shopify store handle, API Key, and Key password you obtained from Shopify in the corresponding fields. Click Import now at the bottom right of the page.
There will be a system notification when the import is completed. You can then go to the Products page to check and edit the products.
