Adding an ALT Attribute to Images in the File Library
The ALT attribute, also known as an ALT tag, allows you to add descriptive text to images. This text helps search engines index your images more effectively, which can improve your website’s SEO (search engine optimization). It also enhances accessibility by enabling screen readers to describe images to visually impaired users or anyone using text-to-speech features.
This article will show you how to add or edit the ALT attribute for images in your File library.
