Guide to SHOPLINE Products

 

The Products section is your primary workspace for uploading, managing, and organizing products, digital goods, services, and gift cards on SHOPLINE. It's divided into six main modules: Products, Inventory, Transfer, Collections, Gift Cards, and Catalog.

This article will guide you through the basic functions of each module to help you effectively manage your products.

Products

Upon entering the Products module, you'll see a list of all your products.

Here, you can add new products, import or export product data, and view the activation status of your products.

You can also use filters and sorting to quickly find specific products and select multiple products for bulk actions.

For your convenience, you can save custom search filters as tabs to quickly find products based on your specific criteria. You can also update or delete existing tabs.

Inventory

In the Inventory module, you can view and adjust your product inventory levels.

Manually change the available quantity and stock on hand for individual products or multiple products at once.

You can also modify the inventory strategy and quantities for selected products in bulk.

Transfer

Transfer allows you to record, track, and receive incoming inventory between your store locations.

This feature offers several benefits:

  • Track inventory movements between locations.
  • Specify whether you've received all or part of a transfer for convenient management.
  • Automatically update your product inventory upon receiving transferred items.
  • View incoming transfer details, including quantity and expected arrival date.

 


 

Collections

In the Collections module, you can organize your products into categories for better management.

Choose between manual and automated collections:

  • Manual Collections: Create collections manually and add products based on criteria such as name, SKU, category, or tags.

  • Smart Collections: Automatically add products to collections based on predetermined conditions, such as tags, titles, prices, or inventory. You can use AND or OR logic to configure complex rules that meet your specific needs.

Similar to the Products module, you can save custom search filters as tabs for quick access to the collections you manage regularly. You can also update or delete existing tabs as needed.

Gift Cards

The Gift cards section allows you to create and manage gift cards.

You can sell gift cards to customers or manually issue them to provide discounts and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you can track the balance of gift cards within this module.

Catalog

The Catalog module allows you to manage product catalogs and set pricing rules tailored to specific B2B customers. This feature helps you offer targeted pricing strategies and optimized product offerings, enhancing customer engagement and boosting sales.

Note: The Catalog feature is available only for stores on the Enterprise plan.
