Uploading Local Assets to File Library

 

When you’re building or modifying your website, the assets you upload to templates will be automatically added to the file library for later use. You can also first upload local assets to the file library and use them later when building or modifying the website.

Uploading Local Assets to File Library

When your assets are ready, follow the steps below to upload them to the file library:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click Settings > File Library.

  2. Click the Upload files button in the upper right corner and select one or more local files to upload. You can also drag and drop the files here.

Whether you are uploading assets to the file library or directly to the page on the website, we recommend that you go through the instructions of the store templates first. Then create assets according to the specifications for different placements, and name the assets properly to facilitate identification and later utilization.

Currently, the following file formats and sizes are supported:

  • Images in .gif, .pjp, .jpg, .pipeg, .jpeg, .jfif, .png, .bmp, .webp, .svg, .ico formats, with a maximum size of 10 M.
  • Videos in .mp4 format, with a maximum size of 20M.
  • Files in .pdf, .xlsx, .csv, .docx formats, with a maximum size of 20 M.
