Key Notes on Plans and Points

In Smart Ads, all time settings are based on [UTC+8].

Effective Time and Validity Period of Plan

A plan is valid for 30 days. The effective time is calculated based on [UTC+8] from the date of purchase. Namely, this date is the first day of the 30-day validity period.

For example,

  • if a Chinese merchant purchased a Standard plan at 2:00 PM on July 6, 2022 (local time), the plan would be valid from 2:00 PM on July 6, 2022 to 12:00 PM on August 4, 2022 based on [UTC+8].
  • If a Thailand merchant purchased a Standard plan at 11:01 PM on July 6, 2022 (local time), the plan would be valid from 00:01 AM on July 7, 2022 to 12:00 PM on August 5, 2022 based on [UTC+8].

 Time for Points Deduction

According to Points Recharge and Refund, if you have ads spending, you will be charged a specific percentage as transaction fees on the next day of your advertising consumption, and the calculation time of this day and the next day is also based on [UTC+8].

For example,

  • If a Chinese merchant had advertising spending from 0:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 6, 2022 (local time), this merchant would be charged a specific amount of transaction fee on July 7, 2022 based on the advertising spending from 0:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 6, 2022 [UTC+8].
  • If a Thailand merchant had advertising spending from 0:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 6, 2022 (Thailand time), this merchant would be charged a specific amount of transaction fee on July 7, 2022 based on the advertising spending from 0:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 6, 2022 [UTC+8], which means those ads spending generated from 11:00 PM on July 5, 2022 to 11:00 PM on July 6, 2022 (Thailand time) are included in the calculation.
