Product Option Customizer & Product Bundler: Markets Pricing Compatibility for Customized Products

SHOPLINE has introduced the Markets functionality, which includes compatibility logic for product customization in specific scenarios. Please review the following information carefully to avoid pricing discrepancies.

 

 

Compatibility Instructions

  • If your store has enabled Customization cost included with discount, do not set a fixed market price for customized products. Otherwise, a price discrepancy may occur between the price displayed on the product detail page and the price shown after the product is added to the cart.
  • If your store has selected Customization cost excluded from discount, or if you have not set a fixed market price for customized products, this issue will not occur.

You can view and manage this setting by going to: Settings > Basic > Discount settings.

Important Note on Theme Version Differences:

The availability and behavior of the customization fee discount setting depend on your store’s theme version:

  • OS 2.0 themes and below: Merchants can choose whether the customization fee is included in discounts or excluded from discounts.
  • OS 2.1 themes and above: The customization fee is always included in discounts by default, and this setting cannot be changed.

If your store is using OS 2.1 or later, the customization fee will always be discounted together with the product price.

What is Markets?

Markets is a solution introduced by SHOPLINE that allows merchants to sell products globally from a single site.

You can access it in the SHOPLINE admin panel at: Settings > Markets. For more details, refer to the "Markets Overview" guide.

What is Fixed Price?

Fixed Price is a Markets feature that allows you to set specific prices for products in a particular market, independent of currency exchange rates or price fluctuations.

You can configure this feature by going to: Settings > Markets > Products and Pricing. For more details, refer to the "Adjusting Product Prices by Market to Improve Sales Strategy" guide.
