PayPal is a payment system that allows payments through credit or debit cards, PayPal balances, or credit. When you create a SHOPLINE store, you are able to authorise your PayPal account in one click.
If you do not have a PayPal account yet, you can create a PayPal account to accept online payments immediately from any incoming transaction.
When authorising, you can specify another PayPal account to receive payments if you already have a different one.
To use PayPal in your store, you need a Business PayPal account. Most functions and tools provided by PayPal for business owners are only available on business accounts.

Once you have connected PayPal to your SHOPLINE store, you will be charged a transaction fee of 3.9% + a fixed fee of SGD$0.50 as well as a commission fee for all payments processed through the platform.
For example, if you are on the Essential plan and a customer makes a $100 payment, the fees will be calculated as $3.90 + SGD$0.50 for the transaction fee and $0.80 for the commission fee, for a total of $5.20. |
