Exploring Your Payment Options
SHOPLINE offers a range of payment methods to cater to your POS business needs. Let's take a tour!
SHOPLINE Payments
SHOPLINE Payments offers the simplest payment solution for your POS stores. It eliminates the need to navigate the complex setup of a third-party payment provider or merchant account. You can apply to activate SHOPLINE Payments in the POS channel of your admin panel. For more information, refer to SHOPLINE Payment POS Terminals.
Third-party Payment Providers
If you prefer not to use SHOPLINE Payments or SHOPLINE Payments is not available in your region, you can add and use other third-party payment service providers. These options vary depending on your location. For example, you can use Jeripay in Singapore, Payhunter in Malaysia, and Tryo in Australia.
Cash Payments
Cash remains a popular choice for many, especially for smaller in-person transactions. Offering it as a payment option makes checkout familiar and frictionless for a large customer segment. If cash aligns with your business needs, simply enable it in your SHOPLINE POS settings. For detailed guidance, refer to Cash Payment.
Custom Payments
If the payment service you need is not currently supported by SHOPLINE POS, you can still process payments by setting up a custom payment method. Flexibly create custom payment methods in the Customized payment section; the created payment methods will be displayed on your SHOPLINE POS checkout interface. When processing order payments, select the specific payment methods to complete the checkouts. For more information, see Customize Payment Collection.
Gift Card Payments
When customers purchase or receive a gift card from your SHOPLINE store, they can use the balance on the gift card to pay for their orders in POS. Gift card payments do not require any additional setup. In SHOPLINE POS, users only need to provide the gift card QR code or gift card number when checking out. For more information, see Gift Card Payment.
Voucher Payments
Vouchers can be created for marketing promotion purposes. SHOPLINE POS supports custom settings and the application of voucher payments. You can create voucher information and face values in the Vouchers section. Customers who receive vouchers can use them to offset the remaining payment amount for their orders when shopping in-store. For more information, see Voucher Payment.
Shopping Credits Payments
If you set up shopping credit issuance rules based on customer spending behavior in the SHOPLINE Member System, customers can use their shopping credits to offset the remaining payment amount for their orders when shopping in-store. Shopping credit payments do not require any additional setup. In SHOPLINE POS, when checking out, select the corresponding customer to use the shopping credits in the customer's assets for offsetting.
