Verifying Your Store's Domain on Google Merchant Center (GMC)
If you plan to list products through Google Merchant Center, you need to first complete domain verification. Domain verification is a necessary step for merchants and advertisers to set up the Google Merchant Center account. SHOPLINE provides a solution for you to quickly accomplish this verification, aiming to assist you in easily completing the domain verification and ownership declaration on Google for your store domains.
About Domain Verification
Google offers four methods for you to verify your domain:
- Adding a Meta tag to the index page of your website.
- Uploading an HTML file to your website directory.
- Connecting your website to Google Tag Manager.
- Connecting your website to Google Analytics.
Currently, SHOPLINE utilizes the first method (adding a Meta tag to the index page of your website) to help you complete domain verification.
