Smart Feed: Uploading Product Videos to Meta

According to Meta's guidelines, product videos help merchants better showcase product features and usage scenarios, potentially increasing conversion rates by up to 20%. To maximize these benefits, the Smart Feed app now supports uploading product video links to the Meta feed. Follow this guide for detailed setup instructions.

How to Upload Videos to Your Meta Channels

To display product videos on Meta channels, you must first upload them through the product settings page. Smart Feed will then automatically integrate the videos into your Meta feed. Follow these steps:

1. In your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Products and select the products for which you want to upload videos to Meta.
   
2. On the product settings page, find the Image/video section and upload the videos from your local device. For detailed instructions, refer to the "Adding Product Videos" guide.
   

   Notes:  Embedded YouTube links are not supported. Only videos uploaded directly from a local device will be displayed properly. Supported video formats include .mp4, .avi, .mov, and .mkv, with a maximum file size of 200 MB. Videos in unsupported formats will not be displayed.

By default, Smart Feed automatically uploads these videos to your Meta channels once they are added to the product pages. To review or disable the integration, follow these steps:

1. Open the Smart Feed app, go to Feed > Meta, and click the pencil icon to access the editing page.
   
2. In the Product field rules tab, locate the Product additional image link field. By default, automatic video uploads to Meta are enabled. To disable this feature, remove the tag and click Save.
   
3. In the pop-up window, confirm your changes and click Save again to apply them.
