Getting the Chat Plugin Code

  1. On the homepage of your Facebook fan page, click the messenger icon to access the Inbox page.

  2. On the Inbox page, click the settings icon.

  3. Select Chat Plugin on the left navigation menu and click Set up on the Set up your Chat Plugin section.

  4. In the pop-up window, pick Standard as the setup method.

  5. Follow the provided steps to derive the Messenger Chat Plugin Code and finish the setups. Copy and save the code for later.

Configuring the Widget in SHOPLINE

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Custom Code. Install the app if you haven’t already.

  2. In the Custom code app, click Add code.

  3. On the code creation page, name the code, select triggered pages, choose display devices, and decide the widget insert position.

  4. Paste the Messenger chat plugin code derived from your brand fan page into the Code content field. Then, click Add.
