Example Use Case
Here is a practical example of using the Update SKU information action to automate variant settings.
Scenario: Automatically disable inventory tracking whenever a new inventory item is created.
- Trigger: Create inventory item
-
Action: Update SKU information
- Inventory Tracking: Set Track inventory to No.
- Outcome: Every time a new product variant is added to your store, the system automatically sets its inventory tracking policy to "No." This ensures that specific types of items (such as digital products or services) are configured correctly without manual setup.
