Creating an Order Tracking Page

 

An order tracking page provides real-time shipping updates, improving customer satisfaction and reducing inquiries about order status. This guide explains how to customize a logistics tracking page using SHOPLINE's default template or by integrating third-party tracking codes like 17 Track.

Using SHOPLINE's Default Template

To use SHOPLINE's default tracking page template, follow these steps:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Online Store > Page > Create a page.

  2. Enter a descriptive title for the tracking page, such as "Order tracking."
  3. In the Theme template drop-down menu, select Order tracking, then click Add.

  4. In the custom page list, locate the tracking page you've just created and click the eye icon to preview the page.

After creating the order tracking page, you can further customize it by accessing the theme editor. Navigate to Online Store > Design, and click the Design button. In the theme editor, select Custom page > Order tracking from the page selector menu.

Using Third-Party Tracking Codes

To insert third-party logistics tracking codes, use the source code feature provided in the custom page. Follow these steps:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Online Store > Page > Create a page.
  2. Enter a descriptive title for the tracking page, such as "Order tracking."
  3. Click the < > icon to open the HTML source code editor.

  4. Copy the relevant third-party tracking code (e.g., from 17 Track) into the HTML source code area, then click Save. For additional tracking codes, please refer to the provider's instructions.
  5. Click Add to complete the setup.
    Note: The HTML source code editor is supported in all versions of SHOPLINE store themes.
  6. In the custom page list, locate the tracking page you've just created and click the eye icon to preview the widget.
