Managing Apps in Your SHOPLINE Store
After installing apps, you can access and manage them from the My Apps page in your SHOPLINE admin. From this page, you can quickly find installed apps, pin frequently used apps to the sidebar, review app information, remove apps you no longer need, and discover additional apps for your store.
This guide introduces the main options available for managing your SHOPLINE apps.
Accessing Your Installed Apps
In your SHOPLINE admin, click Apps in the left sidebar to open the My Apps page.
The My Apps page displays all apps currently installed on your store. From here, you can:
- Click an app to open and use it.
- Search for an installed app by name.
- Sort your apps by Recently used, Recently installed, or Most commonly used.
- Pin frequently used apps to the left sidebar for quicker access.
- Access additional management options from the three-dot menu.
- Go to the SHOPLINE App Store to find additional apps.
Finding and Organizing Your Installed Apps
If you have multiple apps installed, use the search and sorting options at the top of the My Apps page to quickly locate the app you need.
Enter an app name in the search bar to find a specific app, or use the sorting menu to organize your installed apps by:
- Recently used: Apps you've accessed most recently.
- Recently installed: Apps you've installed most recently.
- Most commonly used: Apps you use most frequently.
Pinning Apps to the Sidebar
You can pin frequently used apps so they're directly accessible from the left sidebar of your SHOPLINE admin.
On the My Apps page, click the pin icon next to an app. Once pinned, the app appears under Apps in the left sidebar.
To remove a pinned app from the sidebar, click the pin icon again.
Pinning or unpinning an app only changes where it appears in your admin and doesn't install or remove the app.
Viewing App Information
To review information about an installed app:
- From the My Apps page, locate the app you want to review.
-
Click More (three-dot icon) next to the app, then select one of the available options:
- Application details: View information related to the installed application.
- About: View more information about the app.
The available information and options may vary by app.
Managing App Plans
For apps that offer different plans, a View Plans button may appear next to the app on the My Apps page.
Click View Plans to review the plans available for that app and manage your selection.
Pricing, subscription options, and billing terms vary by app. Review the applicable pricing and terms before selecting or changing a plan.
Removing an App
If you no longer need an installed app, you can remove it from your store.
- In your SHOPLINE admin, go to Apps.
- On the My Apps page, locate the app you want to remove.
-
Click More (three-dot icon) next to the app, then select App removal.
- Follow the prompts to complete the removal.
Before removing an app, check whether you need to preserve any app data, disconnect an external service, or cancel an applicable subscription.
Removing an app from SHOPLINE may not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by an external service provider. If applicable, review the app's cancellation terms before removing it.

The My Apps page also provides several ways to discover additional apps for your store.
- Search bar: Use the search bar on the My Apps page to search for applications or discover new ones.

Getting Support for an App
If you encounter an issue with an app, check the app's Help Center documentation or support information first.
For apps developed by SHOPLINE, contact SHOPLINE Support if you need additional assistance. For third-party apps, support may be provided directly by the app developer. Check the app's information to identify the appropriate support channel.
When reporting an issue, provide relevant information such as the app name, screenshots, and steps to reproduce the issue to help the support team investigate.
Frequently Asked Questions About SHOPLINE Apps
Q1: Why can't I access or manage an installed app?
Your account may not have the required permissions to access or manage apps. Contact the store owner or an administrator to confirm your account permissions.
If your permissions are correct but you still can't access the app, check the app's documentation or contact the appropriate support team.
Q2: Can staff members manage installed apps?
Whether a staff member can access or manage an app depends on the permissions assigned to their account and, where applicable, permissions configured within the app.
If you don't have the required permissions, contact the store owner or an administrator. For more information about managing staff permissions for apps, refer to "Managing Store Staff and Permissions."
Q3: Will removing an app cancel my subscription?
This depends on how the app's subscription is managed.
If the subscription is managed through an external service or provider, removing the app from SHOPLINE may not automatically cancel the subscription. Review the app's cancellation instructions and complete any required cancellation steps before removing it.
Q4: What happens to my data after I remove an app?
Data handling varies by app. Some app-specific data may be retained or deleted according to the developer's applicable data retention and privacy policies.
If you need to preserve or delete specific data, review the app's documentation or contact the developer before removing the app.
Q5: Can I reinstall an app after removing it?
If the app is still available to your store, you can generally install it again. However, previous app settings or data may not be restored automatically.
Check the app's documentation or contact its support team if you need to confirm whether previous data or configurations can be recovered.
