Flow Automation: Triggering Workflows When a Company Location Is Created
You can use the Company location created trigger in Flow Automation to start a workflow whenever a new location is added to a B2B company in your SHOPLINE Admin. A company location represents a specific site, such as a branch or warehouse, with its own shipping address. This trigger is useful for notifying staff to review and follow up on new locations or checking whether new locations fall within your active markets.

Testing the Workflow
To test whether the workflow is successfully triggered when a company location is created, follow these steps:
- In Flow Automation, set up a workflow using the Company location created trigger, then click Publish.
- From your SHOPLINE Admin, go to Customers > Companies, and click the company you want to add a location to.
In the Location section, click Add location.
Enter the location details, such as Shipping address, Catalog, and Payment terms, then click Create.

The following example demonstrates how to use the Company location created trigger to notify your team whenever a new company location is added.
Scenario: Whenever a new company location is created, automatically send an email notification to the responsible sales staff so they can promptly review and verify the location details.
- Trigger: Company location created
- Action: Send email
- Subject: Action Required: New B2B Company Location – [Company Name]
- Content: A new company location has been added to [Company Name]. Please log in to your SHOPLINE Admin to review and verify its information.
- Recipient: Enter the email addresses of the store staff responsible for following up (for example, your_email@example.com).
- Outcome: Whenever a new company location is created, the system automatically sends an email to the responsible internal store staff member, reminding them to review the location information promptly.
