Connecting Facebook Messenger to SHOPLINE

SHOPLINE Message Center facilitates seamless integration with Facebook Messenger, empowering you to promptly respond to customers' messages from Facebook and efficiently place orders at the centralized message center.

Steps to Connecting Your Facebook Account

 

Necessary Preparation before Linking

Before initiating the connecting process, please ensure you have:

  • Registered for a personal Facebook account.
  • Created a fan page under the full administrative control of your personal account. 

 

Steps to Linking Your Facebook Account

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Channels > Messages. In the Link multiple channels to reach more customers module, locate Facebook Messenger and click Go to settings.

  2. In the Facebook Fanpage Account module, click Link Now.

  3. In the pop-up window, log in with the personal Facebook account that has full administrative permissions for the fan page(s) you want to connect to.

  4. Upon successful login, select the Facebook fan page(s) you want to link to SHOPLINE and click Next.

  5. Configure the permission settings based on your operational needs and click Done. The linking process will be initiated immediately.

  6. Once the fan page is successfully linked, click OK to close the window.

The linked Facebook fan page will be displayed in the Facebook Fanpage Account module.

Notes:
  • One Facebook fan page can only be connected to one store.
  • Multiple fan pages can be linked to the same store but are required to be managed by the same personal Facebook account.

 


 

Managing Facebook Messages in Message Center

Once the linking of your Facebook account to SHOPLINE is completed, you can proceed to the Message Center for further management.

 

Viewing and Responding to Messages 

You can respond to customers’ messages sent via your Facebook fan page directly from the SHOPLINE Message Center.

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Channels > Messages. Click View messages in the upper right corner to access the centralized message reply panel.

  2. Click the Messenger icon and select the message you want. You can then send responses directly from the panel.

Creating Orders for Customers

In addition to responding to customers’ messages, you can create and manage orders within the centralized message reply panel.

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Channels > Messages. Click View messages in the upper right corner to access the centralized message reply panel.

  2. On the right of the chat page with a customer, click order > + New Order.

  3. In the product module, click Add items to add products requested by the customer.

  4. Provide the contact information and set up payment details.

  5. Optionally add order notes and/or order tags to help track customer requirements and identify customer segments.

After entering all the necessary information for the draft order, create the order via one of the two methods below:

  • Click Create Order to settle accounts on behalf of the customer.

  • Click send link to add goods to the shopping cart on behalf of the customer and send the link to them for confirmation and checkout.
