Pre-Configuration Checklist for MBE

Before connecting MBE with your SHOPLINE online store, please ensure that your personal Facebook account has the following permissions:

  • Business Manager (BM) permission
  • Administrator permission of Facebook Page
  • Administrator permission of Facebook Ad account
  • Administrator permission of Catalog
  • Administrator permission of Meta Pixel

 

 

Asset Authorization

To connect MBE with SHOPLINE, follow these steps:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, click on Channels in the sidebar, and select Facebook.
  2. In the Facebook channel, click on Get started in the Meta Business Extension (MBE) section. This will launch the Facebook setup wizard.

  3. After confirming your Facebook login account, click Continue as [Your Name].

  4. Read through the instructions regarding the association between your SHOPLINE online store and Facebook, and click Continue.

  5. Choose the assets you want to connect, then click Continue.

  6. Authorize which actions SHOPLINE can perform, and click Next.

  7. You have completed the account connection process. Next, you can choose which features you want to activate based on your business needs. Click Set up next to the feature.
    • It is recommended to activate I would like to run ads using this app to obtain ad assets for data tracking.
    • If you use BD API, activate I would like to build a marketing contact list linked to order data that I can communicate with via FB Messenger.
    • If you want to use Messenger CAPI to report conversion data from messages to Facebook, activate I would like to enable this app to send messaging events.

  1. After the activation is complete, click Return to SHOPLINE.
