Comprehensive Guide to Configuring Size Charts
The Size Chart app enables you to create and display product size information on your store, helping your customers find the right fit quickly. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure the details of your size chart.
Selecting Applicable Languages
After creating a new size chart template, first provide a descriptive name for the chart and select the applicable languages.
- Applicable to all languages: Choose this option if the size chart is applicable to all languages and requires no translation.
- Applicable to only specified languages: If you sell in multiple markets with different languages and has configured multi-language translations, select this option and specify the applicable language. Please ensure that the size information you enter matches the selected language format. The size chart will automatically switch to the corresponding translated version based on the supported language.
Editing Size Chart Details
Depending on the chosen template, a default chart is provided in the editing area. Follow the instructions below to customize the chart.
Unit Settings
Hover over the size chart area and click the pencil icon to open the Unit setting pop-up. The app supports three unit types: length, weight, and volume. You can set the default unit and enable automatic unit conversion to help customers switch between unit types.

Size Chart Customization
You have three methods to edit your size chart:

Manual Entry: You can manually input the size data one by one.

Copy and Paste: Copy the information from an external Excel size chart, right-click the size chart cell, and paste the data.

Import: Hover over the size chart and click the import icon in the upper-right corner to download the Size chart import template. Fill out the data and upload it again from the same entry.
Notes: - The import template supports up to 50 rows and 50 columns.
- A single cell supports a maximum of 19 characters.
- The first column and row of the size chart correspond to the first column and row of the import file, respectively.
Size Charts for Different Countries
You can set up a feature to allow customers to switch between size information for different countries. Follow these steps:
- Enable the Country Size toggle and click Edit. Alternatively, right-click on the Size column and select Add Switching Column.
- In the pop-up settings window, enter the supported country in the first-row header and fill in the corresponding size in each column.You can right-click any cell to Add column to the left or Add column to the right as needed.
- The countries added will automatically appear in the Default display country selector. Choose the default country you want to set for your store.
- To override the default product size specifications, check Switch column configuration to override product size specifications. When customers switch the country on the product details page, the product specifications will automatically update to display the correct size for that country.
Configuring the Chart Style and Placement
On the right panel of the settings page, you will see the Display settings section, where you can customize the chart style and its display position to better align with your store design.
Chart Style
You have the following options to customize the style of your size chart:
- Copy: Name your chart link, which will be visible to customers on the product page. You can enter up to 20 characters.
- Font Size: Customize the font size of the chart link's name.
- Style: Customize the font style. Options include bold, italic, and underlined.
- Font: Set the font to either Follow theme or Customize.
- Icon: Choose the icon to be displayed with the chart link. You can also upload your own icon.
- Dimension: Set the icon's dimensions.
- Color: Set the colors to either Follow theme or Customize.
In the Preview option, preview the effects in real time to ensure the design of the chart link meets your needs.
Display Position
- For products with multiple variants: You can choose to place the size chart either on the right side or below the product options, or within the product description.
- For products without variants: Set the size chart to appear either on the right side or below the quantity selector options, or within the product description.
Hover over each option to preview how the size chart will appear on the storefront. Select the most suitable position based on your needs.
Note: The final display of the size chart may vary depending on the store theme. It is recommended to preview the settings on the product details page before applying them to ensure the display meets your expectations. |
Setting Applicable Variant Options and Products
After configuring a size chart, you'll need to assign applicable variant options and products to it.
Selecting Applicable Variant Options
The size chart will display based on the set specifications of the selected products. If the product has no variant options, the chart will be displayed in the product description.
- Go to Applicable products variant options and click Select option.
- In the Select specification pop-up, all existing product variant options in your store will be shown. You can search for specifications by name. Select the desired options and click Confirm.
- If you select No variant product, you can associate the size chart with all the products without variants. You configure the display position in the Display settings.
Selecting Applicable Products
Choose the product range where you want to apply the size chart:
- All products: Check this option to apply the size chart to all products.
- Select a product: Choose this option to apply the size chart to specific products.
- Select a collection: Choose this option to apply the size chart to selected product collections.
Setting Size Recommendation
You can configure size recommendations to help customers choose the right size based on their height, weight, and other details.
Note: To use the size recommendation feature, you must add a new Crosstab to the current size chart. Once added, you can select the corresponding crosstab to apply for size recommendations. |
- In the Size recommendation section, click Set it up now.
- On the Size recommendation settings page, set up the following:

- Size recommendation name: Enter a descriptive name for the recommendation tool, such as "Size assistant."
- Description: Provide guidance for customers to input their information (e.g., height, weight).
- Button text: Customize the button text as needed.
- After configuring, preview the effect on the right side in the Size recommendation preview.
- In the size recommendation configuration, you can change the source chart by clicking the Change source chart button.
Note: If your current size chart has only one crosstab, no adjustments can be made.
