Getting Started with SHOPLINE Shipping (Early Access)

SHOPLINE Shipping is a built-in logistics feature designed to streamline your order fulfillment process. Once activated, you can purchase shipping labels directly within the SHOPLINE Admin for a faster and more convenient experience.

This guide will walk you through estimating shipping fees and activating the appropriate shipping services.

Notes:
  • SHOPLINE Shipping is currently in beta and available to selected merchants. To request early access, please contact SHOPLINE Support.
  • This feature currently supports only domestic U.S. shipping through USPS. We are working to expand support to additional carriers and regions. For updates, refer to this Help Center article.

 

 

Before You Start

To use SHOPLINE Shipping, ensure that you meet the following requirements:

  • Your store has the U.S. market enabled: SHOPLINE Shipping is currently available only to merchants operating in the United States.
  • Your orders meet the packaging and shipping guidelines of your selected carrier: Each shipping service has its own terms of service and parcel requirements. SHOPLINE Shipping currently supports USPS. We recommend reviewing the Using USPS with SHOPLINE Shipping guide before proceeding.

 

 

Estimating Shipping Fees

Before activating a shipping service and purchasing a shipping label, you can estimate shipping fees to help you choose the most cost-effective methods for your orders:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery.

  2. Locate the Shipping label section. You'll see the available carriers you can choose from. Click Shipping calculator to begin a trial calculation.

  3. In the pop-up window, enter the following:
    • Sender address: Select from your store locations or customize it as needed.
    • Recipient address: Provide the country/region, city, state, and postcode. For trial calculations, detailed address fields beyond these are not required.
    • Package info: Enter the package details, including weight and dimensions, for a more precise estimation.

  1. Click Calculate. The available service options and their estimated costs will be displayed. You can activate services directly from here if desired.
    Note: The displayed shipping fees are simply estimates. The final costs will be based on the carrier’s actual assessment.

Activating Shipping Services

If you’ve decided which shipping services to use and want to activate them directly for SHOPLINE Shipping, follow these steps:

  1. From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery.

  2. Locate the Shipping label section and click Activate now.

  3. On the Carrier management page, all available carriers and services will be listed. Expand each carrier to view and select the services you want to activate.
    Tip: You can still click the Shipping calculator button in the upper right corner to estimate shipping costs before activation.

  4. Click Update to enable the selected services.

Once activated, you can begin purchasing shipping labels for your orders.

Note: These settings apply only to shipping label creation. Return label creation is not supported for configuration.
