Setting Product Recommendation Order of the "All Products" Page
URL Types of the "All Products" Page
The All Products page refers to the page in your store’s menu navigation that displays all the products you want your customers to see. For detailed setup instructions, please refer to the "Navigation Menu" setup guide.
SHOPLINE’s All Products page supports three types of URLs, explained as follows:
| URL Type | Description | Example | Product Recommendation Order & SEO Support |
| Default URL | Ends with /collections | https://{store-handle}. myshopline.com/collections |
Does not support product recommendation sorting or SEO. |
| SEO-Friendly URL | Ends with /collections/all | https://{store-handle}. myshopline.com/collections/all |
By linking this page to a collection whose URL also ends with collections/all, you can enable product recommendation sorting and SEO optimization. |
| Custom URL | Custom link configured in Menu Navigation. For more information, see "Navigation Menu." | https://{store-handle}. myshopline.com/example (custom URL) |
As a custom page, recommendation sorting and SEO may not be fully supported. |

Steps to Configure Sorting Filters
-
In your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Apps > Smart Search Recommendation.
-
From the top menu, click Custom sorting.
-
Add or edit sort options. Example options include:
- Default sort: The recommended order shown by default.
- Sales volume: Sort by best sellers within a specified period.
- Last updated: Highlight new arrivals by sorting from newest to oldest or oldest to newest.
- Price: Display products from low to high or high to low.
- Metafield: Use custom metafields for advanced sorting logic.
-
For each sort option, you can configure:
- Sorting method (e.g., time range, ascending/descending).
- Status: Enable or disable the option.
- Note: The Sort text (the label customers see on the storefront, e.g., Best sellers, New arrivals) cannot be customized.
-
Click Update to save your settings.
Customer View
On the storefront, customers will see a dropdown filter (e.g., Recommended, Best sellers, New arrivals, Price low to high, Featured: High to Low). They can select their preferred sorting option to personalize browsing.
| Tip: Well-configured sorting filters improve product discovery and help customers find items quickly, leading to a better shopping experience. |
