Eligibility for SHOPLINE Payments

How to Apply for SHOPLINE Payments
Setting up SHOPLINE Payments is a straightforward process. Once activated, you can start accepting online payments through SHOPLINE Payments. Before applying, make sure all required documents are ready to streamline your application process. To apply for SHOPLINE Payments, follow these steps:

From your SHOPLINE admin panel, go to Settings > Payments.

In the SHOPLINE Payments section, click Activate SHOPLINE Payments.

Choose your business country/region, read and ensure the required store settings are completed, and click Fill info at the bottom of the page.

Requirements may vary by country or region. Follow the on-screen instructions to provide accurate information and upload the necessary documents. Essential information includes:

- Legal business name
- Business registration number
- Contact details
- Bank account details (account holder name, account number, and routing number)
- Owner’s personal details (name, date of birth, government ID number)
- Tax Identification Number (EIN, TIN, or VATIN)
Note: When uploading documents, ensure the files are clear and legible. PDF or high-resolution image formats are recommended.

Application Review and Service Activation

Review Timeline
- Most applications will be reviewed within 2 to 5 business days.
- Depending on local policies and regulatory requirements, the SHOPLINE Payments team may contact you via email to request additional information about you and/or your business.
Activation Process
- Once your application is approved, SHOPLINE Payments will be activated immediately. You will receive a notification via email and in your SHOPLINE admin panel.
- After your SHOPLINE Payments account is activated, different payment methods will become available at different times. Google Pay and Apple Pay will usually be available within 24 hours after approval. AMEX (American Express) will typically be available within 2 to 3 business days.
