SHOPLINE payments allow you to accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and more. SHOPLINE Payments also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, so that customers can check out with one tap in your store, with no redirection.
When you capture a payment for an order, you’re charged a SHOPLINE payment fee to cover the cost of processing the payment. This fee depends on the type of subscription plan that you are on.

SHOPLINE Payments Compliance
Before setting up SHOPLINE Payments, ensure your store meets the following requirements.
The purpose of collecting this information to apply for SHOPLINE Payments is to comply with the requirements of relevant regulations to prevent money laundering, financing of terrorism and other financial crimes.
Your application would also depend on the development of local policies and regulations. SHOPLINE Payments team may contact you to collect additional information about you and your business.

Store requirements
- Your SHOPLINE store has legal pages including:
- Privacy Policy
- Terms and conditions
- Consumers shall not be required to pay for return shipping. Merchants are not allowed to refund in the form of shopping money or points.

- Shipping, Return and Exchange Policy must include all of the following items:
- Delivery option, logistics provider
- Shipping days (no. of days from the order is placed to the order is shipped)

- Shipping and delivery days for pre-orders (If there are pre-orders for sale)
- Privacy Policy
- Your SHOPLINE store should also complete the following:
- Store logo
- Contact information page
- Upload at least 7 to 10 products on shelves
- Adding images to all your products
- Each product should at least have 1 item in stock
- Enabled shopping cart function
- Store must be open to public
- To see and start the SHOPLINE Payments application, your shop currency should also be set to the country you are selling to:
- For Australian stores, set the currency to AUD
- For Mainland China stores, set the currency to USD
- For Malaysia stores, set the currency to MYR
- For Indonesia stores, set the currency to IDR
- For Singapore stores, set the currency to SGD
Bank account requirements
- The bank account owner must be the same as the name of the application.
- Applicants must provide the payout bank account statement issued by the payout bank within the last 6 months.

Personal information requirements
For verification purposes, the document requirements are as follows:
- The document must contain the full name, date of birth, and personal photo.
- The document must be valid, unexpired and undamanged.
- Documentation must be legible, and text and photographs must be legible.
- Photocopies will not be accepted.
- Complete documents must be uploaded, including the front and back of the ID card and the full personal information page of the passport.
Company information requirements
For verification purposes, the document requirements are as follows:
- Must contain the company name, business address, and company registration number
- The document must be an official document issued by a government department
- The document must be valid and show up-to-date registration information
If SHOPLINE cannot verify the individual who ultimately owns or controls the company, you may be asked to provide additional company registration documents, including parent company information. |
Applying for SHOPLINE Payments
Applying for SHOPLINE Payments requires no technical skills. All you have to do is apply for the payment method from your SHOPLINE admin. Once your store is approved, you can start accepting online payments using SHOPLINE Payments right away.
To apply for SHOPLINE Payments:
- From your SHOPLINE admin, go to Settings > Payments.
- Under SHOPLINE Payments, Click on Apply Now.
- Start the application process to activate SHOPLINE Payments.
Your application will be reviewed automatically. If your application is accepted, SHOPLINE Payments will be activated immediately, and you will be notified about it in your email inbox and SHOPLINE admin.
Please note that in some cases, SHOPLINE may require additional documents. In that case, you will get a notification in your email inbox.
Payments made with SHOPLINE Payments will be automatically deposited into your bank account. The payout period and minimum amount will vary based on your store's currency. Transaction fees are deducted before the deposit is made.
You can check your balance, payments, and payouts from the SHOPLINE Payments page in your SHOPLINE admin.
